Heron Aero Solutions is an engineering services and product company based in Maryland, USA. We are an engineering, certification and PMA kit provider for aircraft operators modifiers and manufacturers that is focused on creating cost reducing solutions for aircraft maintenance and operations issues. By working with users and identifying the operation or maintenance issue, HAS can create, certify and produce solutions that reduce operating and maintenance costs. We also modify aircraft to improve performance or for mission specific needs.
Key Heron Aero staff have over 100 years of collective experience with a proven track record in aircraft certification and PMA parts production for FAA Part 23, 25, 27 and 29 aircraft. With experienced design and certification engineers, including FAA Designated Engineering Representatives, the HAS staff can guarantee a successful program.
HAS personnel are experienced with the production of kits and parts for military and civil customers. HAS fully understands the FAA PMA production and quality systems requirements and will deliver high value products for the aerospace operator.
Heron Aero Solutions personnel also have an extensive background in aircraft maintenance and operations, helping us to better understand the problems encountered in maintaining and operating aircraft. The staff holds FAA A&P certificates, Pilot Certificates, FAA DER designations and ODA UM designations.
